Philosophy
Treatment Centers of Illinois, LLC believes everyone has the ability to change. Successful education/early intervention and or treatment is possible for most individuals without removing them from their home or work and still complete their recommended program and make positive lifestyle changes along the way. Through our program, clients are encouraged to adopt healthy alternative behaviors within their lifestyles to achieve responsible use or complete abstinence from all substances. This program utilizes education, individual and group counseling and self-help support as needed. Individuals are taught to develop a way of life that is dynamic, balanced and substance free.
The Matrix Model
The Matrix Model is a proven effective, evidence-based protocol in a comprehensive, multi-format program. The Matrix Model’s instructional design helps clients understand complex cognitive-behavioral and clinical concepts, reinforces positive behavior change and provides a mechanism for corrective feedback utilizing client resistance as a teaching tool as well as introducing and encouraging self-help/support through group participation.
